Do-it-yourself website building and management

A free 2-hour taster session – register for your space online. There are two sessions, one at 10am, one at 5.30pm
Are you fed up with not having the web presence your business deserves?
Websites can be costly to build and frustrating to maintain for businesses and owners. Often a lack of understanding or confidence in web management, leaves sites out-of-date, unloved and unused.
I am aiming to put an end to this by teaching website owners how to effectively manage their sites, and business owners how to become pro website builders themselves.
If you feel that this skill would benefit your business, or you just fancy learning a bit more about setting up a website, then come along to a taster session, held in the meeting room upstairs at St James.
In this 2-hour taster session, led by Anni Bisson, we will be looking at:
  • different ways and systems to build your website
  • WordPress vs web builders, i.e. Wix
  • structuring your web content
  • do’s and don’ts
  • hosting, domains and other admin
  • costs and what you should spend your money on
  • keep your business safe online
  • how to keep up with website management
There will be plenty of time to ask questions as we make our way through the digital jungle to find out exactly what would work best for you and your business.
These taster sessions are free to attend, there is no need to bring a laptop or device, just some good old-fashioned paper and pen to take notes.
